Refine Your Tango: Intermediate Course for Dancers with 1+ Year Experience

Take your tango to the next level with our 15-class intermediate course, designed for dancers with at least one year of experience. This structured program will help you refine your technique, deepen your musicality, and expand your repertoire—so you can dance with more confidence, creativity, and connection.

What You Will Learn:

✔ Advanced Fundamentals & Technique

• Refining posture, balance, and embrace for a more comfortable and expressive dance
• Mastering dissociation, pivoting, and controlled weight shifts

✔ Expanded Movement Vocabulary

• Complex sequences in both parallel and crossed systems
• Introduction to barridas, sacadas, ganchos, and boleos
• Playing with different dynamics and rhythm variations

✔ Musicality & Expression

• Understanding phrasing and interpreting different tango orchestras
• Enhancing connection with your partner through pauses, suspensions, and syncopations

✔ Improvisation & Partnering

• Creating fluid transitions between steps for a more natural dance
• Building confidence to navigate crowded dance floors with smooth and elegant movement
